A Victorian period drama about death portrait photography

 

Margaret must convince her daughter Louise to take responsibility for the family after the death of her father, whilst the family endures the ritual of a family portrait

FAMILY PORTRAIT stars Allison McKenzie (Shetland), Douglas Russell (Outlander) and Kate McLaughlin (In Plain Sight) and was shot at the historic Pollok House in Glasgow, Scotland.

 

 

FAMILY PORTRAIT was an international co-production between the UK and France, produced by David Brown of Cup of Gold Films (UK) and Charles Paviot of Arts Premieres (France)

 

Funded through Screen Academy Scotland, The Rafford Scholarship and international collaboration with Arts Premieres through Paris Courts Devant Film Festival, FAMILY PORTRAIT was purchased by France 3 Television and was broadcast three times on national French television

FAMILY PORTRAIT has played in over 50 international film festivals winning 12 international film awards including Best Film, Best Director, Best Editor, Best Visual Design and Best Actress. Kelly was also nominated for Best Female Director at the London Short Film Festival
